“What’s wrong with Secretary Kim.” Episode 4
Lee Young-jun (Park Seo-joon) and Kim Mi-so (Park Min-young) was caught in blackout in the library of the art centre. While walking out of the library in darkness, Young-jun commented on how fast Mi-so walks. Mi-so mentions that over the years that she has been working with him, she has to catch up with him and it has become a habit to walk fast in order to keep pace with him.
Young-jun cheekily replied that one step for him is two steps for others, referring to his long legs. Young-jun questioned on why he didn’t notice how fast Mi-so walks. Mi-so replies that only when it is dark, your sense are heightened and you will be more aware of your surroundings.
Young-jun stopped at his pace, having heard Mi-so’s reply. He realized how he seems to have noticed many things about Mi-so while they were in the dark.
Seeing him stopped and unaware of his thoughts, Mi-so pulled Young-jun’s hand and usher him to continue walking.
While Mi-so holds his hand, which she has done many times unconsciously, Young-jun now felt her touch.
Realizing how he felt he replied “Mi-so, you are right. When it’s dark, you are more aware.”
Mi-so feeling awkward, she quickly let go of her grasp.
In a speed, Young-jun grabs her hand and tells her he doesn’t want to trip.
It was their actual first hand held moment and also shows how Young-jun is becoming more aware of Mi-so as a woman instead of just his secretary. Mi-so who is so used in taking care of Young-jun is now being taken care of instead. There were still a certain kind of ego that Young-jun has but he is slowly discovering his feelings and taking steps in showing his care for Mi-so.
